Meet the bold, young Camille Justine. A San Diego artist and part of #YourLocalGirlGang. While studying Visual Arts at Point Loma Nazarene University, she creates beautiful art for school and for her love of creativity. Painting and printmaking stay her main focus, as she explores all mediums of inspiration and art.
Where did her insatiable craving to create begin? A very young age. Just as long as she can remember.
Her pieces have been displayed in shows and contests all around the San Diego area. At the Mission Trails Art Show in Santee, CA, she was recognized for first place as people’s choice for her art piece “Rock Wall Oasis” and also had her work displayed in the offices of Duncan Hunter.
She is inspired by everything she observes in the world, but specifically nature she says, "I take what I find and put a little twist on it by exaggerating or emphasizing colors to be bright and bold -- making art that's unreal, dream-like, and borderline a fantasy."
Camille is always jamming to a different playlist. While creating, she feels like she enters a different world. There, she can create an atmosphere with her art and that particular sound she's hearing.
She can serve as a bright and shining example for all of us. She's just a girl who relentlessly pursues her passion without letting anything get in the way. Thanks for the inspiration, gal! Don't stop creating that good stuff, Camille.
